  1. It’s refreshing to find an author who can bring a story to page without trying to prove to the reader how witty he is.

  2. I love this series and I love both authors. I want all the things related to them. Ever.

  3. I had a party when I finished “Memory of Light”. Robert and Brandon have set a high bar on world building and fantasy.

  4. I actually received a copy of the guide to wheel of time for Christmas, this would be so great to win!

  5. WoT is such an amazing series. I think Robert would be proud with the finish in A Memory of Light. It was the true definition of a page-turner.

  6. Robert Jordan’s WoT was the first series I ever read that made me feel like I wasn’t just reading about the characters, but journeying alongside them. Thanks, Brandon Sanderson, for helping to bring us to the journey’s end.

  7. How many stories can span 15 books and have a following that continues to grow? Spectacular.

  8. Ooh, this book + swag bundle would make an awesome (slightly belated) birthday gift for ME! 😉

  9. Oh sweet.

Read the series through and through, my favorite scene is still Mat whooping Gawyn & Galad “with a stick.”

  10. Man, I still can’t believe WoT is actually over. I doubt if I will ever read anything where I care so much about the characters. Taishar RJ!

  11. I really want the iphone case and the backpack. Those would MAKE MY LIFE! Dovie’andi se tovya sagain. Taishar RJ!

  12. Thanks to Robert Jordan for his outstanding vision and for creating some fantastic characters. Thanks to Brandon Sanderson for stepping in and completing the series in spectacular fashion.

  13. Those dice just keep rolling in my head! Wonder if that means if I have the enough of the Dark One’s own luck to win…

  14. I am a newcomer to The Wheel of Time, but making my way through quickly. I would love to have “Memory” waiting for me.

  15. Been in love with this series most of my life. My brother actually named his daughter Aviendha. As much as I would love this backpack it would be the perfect bday present for him and as a small thank you for buying me the first book when I was in the 5th grade. Time to toss the dice and post…

  16. This series has been my favorite ever since High school. I can’t wait for the Encyclopedia!

  17. This series is the difinitive standard for what fantasy literature should be. The way it ended was unbelievably powerful.

  18. I loved the whole series and wish that it could have continued or maybe did some side stories

  19. One of the greatest book series of our time, we are so lucky to have it .any swag will do thank you thank you.

  20. I never enter these things due to pessimism in how the winner is chosen. However I cannot help myself here, this series means the world to me and guided me through my own dark and troubled teen years. I saw facets of myself in nearly every character and felt inspired when they grew and adapted to their ever changing circumstances. I would do nearly anything, including writing a (nigh-on anonymous) embarrassing and simple diatribe on my love of all things WoT, to win this set of prizes! Here’s hoping for a bit of luck…

    Sene sovya caba’donde ain dovienya.

  21. Tried reading WOT about 10 years ago and couldn’t get into it. Tried again in 2013 because I love Branfon Sanderson’s writing. Now glad I gave it another chance.

  22. What an honor it must’ve been for Mr. Sanderson to take over this venerated series which he, himself, had begun reading as a teenager. And what a fantastically brilliant job he did! I feel as if I know each of the characters and will carry them forward with me throughout many future re-reads! (Finally, a page I can comment on without having Facebook…)

  23. The most in depth series of any genre that I have read. The next book series I read has a very high bar to meet because of the WoT

  24. At the risk of being inanely repetitive, I really, really want there to be a TV adaptation of this book. Such great storytelling should be adapted into as many mediums as possible! Broadway musical after that, perhaps?

  25. Still feels bittersweet to have the series over. A fun ride over all these years, though!

  26. Brandon Sanderson and TOR have done an excellent job of keeping reader interest high for what is the best fantasy fiction series of all time. Cheers!

  27. WoT is an incredible series and by far my favorite read! I read it three times in a row, once before the last book came out and twice after 🙂

  28. Loved this series so much and I’m glad Brandon Sanderson was able to finish the series after RJ’s death.

  29. When I finished MoL it was bittersweet. Here was this amazing story that had entertained me for years and now it’s over. The book was everything I wanted it to be, and it was the ending the series deserved. On the bright side, now I get to look forward to reading the series again and again. After all, there aren’t really any endings… Cheers to Robert Jordan, Brandon Sanderson, and everyone else who made MoL the book it was supposed to be.

  30. Currently reading through the series for the first time (starting book 8) and this would make for a great finale when I get to it! Here’s hoping!!

  31. An absolutely beautiful series. I feel bad because I’ve only read a handful of other books since picking up The Eye of the World, but I keep having the urge to reread the entire series. It truly is a masterpiece.

  32. This series means so much to me. It’s been with me as I’ve grown up, and while I’m sad it’s over, I can’t wait to expose others to it and share the adventure and fantasy :).

  33. I am currently on Crossroads of Twilight, and I can honestly say that for most of the series I have been really enjoying them, to the point where I find myself getting headaches from marathon reading sessions.

  34. This book series has defined more than half of my life at this point. It’d be nice to win something cool for this love of mine!!

  35. It’s an awesome book and even though the journey finally ended it was worth the years of waiting. An excellent legacy for Robert Jordan.

  36. This series was a constant companion from middle school to now and I look forward to reading it with my kids.

  37. If I manage to win this, I’ll jump around singing “Dance with Jak o’ the Shadows”. It’d probably make my year.

  38. This is amazing! I haven’t gotten to this one yet, I’m still on book 10, but AMoL has by far my favorite cover art 🙂

  39. I’m really excited to read this, I’m on my first read through WOT and I’m getting close to the end now. It’s both exciting and depressing, because I don’t want to stop reading but I want to know how it ends…

  40. Thanks to RJ, I now have an extensive knowledge of the fashion and decor trends of Randland. But in all seriousness, WoT has taken me to places I’ve never been before.

  41. This is my favorite novel series! Well, The Stormlight Archive is biting on WoTs heels actually! Can’t wait for March 7th!

  42. This is a great series. Too bad that Jordan died, but I’m glad that Sanderson picked up the torch for him. Though the Shadow may fall on us again and again, the Light will rise up to fight every time.

  43. Love the jacket & I think the book will be a great read.
Maybe become part of my library.

  44. I’m excited to start reading this series for the first time soon. I’ve heard nothing but good things, and am interested to see what unfolds.

  45. Wow, so great. A new (to me anyway) series for me to dig into. Looking forward to reading the series now.

  46. How Aes Sedai could get rich
    1. Balefire a bunch if things, causing the black cracks
    2. Flame of Tar Valon the cracks
    3. Collect crystals
    4. ????????
    5. Profit

  47. This is so neat! Thanks, Tor! Just finished this series after reading it for the better part of a year. Totally in love.

  48. The wheel of time series is the greatest. It’s the first high fantasy series that I ever read, but I would still easily consider it the best!

  49. I do love the Wheel of Time. I actually already have a bag but if I won I’d probably give everything to my brother as an apartment warming gift.

  50. I have just finished reading the series once again. I am simply amazed on how the books captivate me. Hours go by and it feels like minutes. Everytime I read the series I find more and more things that I have missed. I find myself laughing at the strange humor and cringing at the imagery of brutality and violence. However hard I try, I can’t put the books away. Thank you Robert Jordan. Your words spring my imagination back to life. Brandon Sanderson thank you for stepping up and immortalizing Jordan’s work. You have a fan in me.

  51. I’m just beginning The Great Hunt, but would love this :). I should use a backpack, I hear, more than the satchels I carry. I have a spot to store Memory of Light until I get to it, and a friend who would love the iphone cover. Please put my name in for the draw.

(Glad I’m not the person/people who have to choose!)

    Thanks,
    Theresa

  52. Absolutely loved the Wheel of Time! Robert Jordan created such a wonderful world, may the Light rest his soul, and he find the Mother’s warm embrace.

And of course, Brandon Sanderson finishing it off. Spectacular!
A Memory of Light was GENIUS!
I don’t even care if I win or not (I’d still like to) but even still,
    Wheel of Time!!!

  53. Wow, really had to fling my finger in this phone to get to the bottom for commenting. Count me in, I love this series!

  54. Hands down the best series I have ever read! I find myself so immersed in this world that was created, it makes it hard to come back to reality

  55. Just started dipping my toes into this series last year. On The Shadow Rising and love the characters so much. Love to see how they develop and root for such strong females.

  56. This would be such an indescribable sweepstakes to win! I have every book-on-CD of the WoT series and every book in the series in paperback except A Memory of Light. The possibility of winning this is as exciting as a Christmas morning! Thank you!

  57. So. I don’t normally buy hardcover books because they are too hard to hold onto one-handed. But I bought the last three of this series because I couldn’t wait six months {Or more} to get the paperback version.

  58. I started reading Wheel Of Time when I was in middle school. I cried when I found out R.J. died. I pre-ordered the final book and had it the same day it was released. However, it took me 3 months to actually start the book, knowing that this was finally an ending and a goodbye. I will still go through and re-read the whole series every few years. And, finally, I can’t wait until my boys are old enough to read the books.

  59. I’ve always wanted to read the Wheel of Time series! It would be an amazing surprise to win this!

  60. I don’t have the paperback yet! Would love to give the bag as a gift to my father in law, who introduced me to WoT =)

  61. I just got an iphone recently! That cover would sure look great on it. Thanks for the chance to win!

  62. the wheel of time is an amazing series and will stay on my shelves till i rot and die in a hole and they will be read more than any other book i have read, and i read non-stop.

  63. I found this series, on my own, at the bookstore. I found this started when I was about fifteen. My only regret is that I found it almost twenty years later. Bless Mr. Jordan, and though he may return with a new face and name, I hope he remains the same. Tai’shar Manethern!

  64. I am entering your giveaway.
It would be great to win a Memory of Light backpack
and a paperback copy of A Memory of Light and an iphone cover.
thank you for having this giveaway!!!!!!!

  65. I have not yet read this book but I am looking forward to becoming a new fan if I won

  66. Would love to read this! Saw this book at Barnes and Noble just a few days ago and made a mental note to get it ASAP ^^. Would be wonderful to win it!

  67. Not read this series yet but looking like a good one to start. Sounds like a winner of a book!!!

  68. Are there any notes for Jordan’s next series he was working on? Something about a colonial-era man shipwrecked on an island that ends up being another world…
