Tor Books is proud to present a year of…
#FEARLESSWOMEN
Women are shining in every genre of speculative fiction, and it is no longer enough to say “Women are here.” Instead, #FearlessWomen everywhere are taking a stand to say “Women will thrive here.”
Beginning this summer, meet a new generation of #FearlessWomen who are shaping new blockbuster worlds—and re-shaping our own. Highlighting major titles from bestselling authors V. E. Schwab, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Jacqueline Carey as well as titles from acclaimed and debut authors such as Mary Robinette Kowal, Tessa Gratton, Sam Hawke, and Robyn Bennis, #FearlessWomen will be a celebration encouraging fans to start a dialogue about women in publishing, their worlds, their voices, and their unique stories.

They’re celebrating women who write F/SFF. It says nothing about the content of the books. Many of these awesome authors write about male characters too
I fully support your decision to honor Fearless Women both authors and characters. One of my favorite woman character is Lisbeth Salamander in the book The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. She was awesome and wish there were more books similar to her character
I love love love the thought and can’t wait to read the stories these #fearlesswomen provide. However….Robyn Bennis’s book with a male in the foreground and a female in the background seems to smack of the same old same old. I’d love to see a new, more #fearlesswomen type cover!
I noticed that as well.
